The basic ground rules for discussions on CLC Radio forums are simple:
be polite, think before you send, don't break a law and don't post any
media that is copyrighted - not belonging to you.
In order to participate AND post in these
forums, JavaScript MUST be enabled on your computer
at all times - no exceptions. The moment our JavaScript stops
running is the moment you will see a 404 Error page. We run a script (java) that will
identify your EXTERNAL IP AND INTERNAL IP addresses. These we will
use to set up your initial account. If you don't believe that we
know how to do this, enable JavaScript (temporarily if you use Mozilla)

We don't intend to censor messages based
on the opinions expressed within posts, but we will enforce the policies
outlined both here and in the Forum. We reserve the right to remove,
modify or move posts at our discretion and without explanation. Modified
posts will be marked as such. If you

the rules, guidelines or policies outlined below.
"Ignorance is bliss!", is dead to us. Suspension of
your account is a definite consequence of not knowing or not adhering to these
guidelines.
In addition to the rules posted here,
members are required to read any individual forum rules which may be
posted at the top of specific forums as Important threads or
Announcements. CLC Radio forum administrators and moderators assume
members have read them, and will not take ignorance of any rules as an
excuse for not following any rules, policies, and guidelines outlined
here, and in the forum specific rules.
General Forum Rules
These rules apply to
all Forum categories.
- Members are permitted a maximum of
one account per person,
regardless of how many companies you represent. If you choose to
ignore this important restriction, all your accounts will be
disabled, and possibly deleted. If you have forgotten your log in
details and are unable to retrieve them via the system, do not
create a new account, please
contact us.
- All publicly displayed messages are
limited to the English language. This includes posts, titles,
signatures, as well as any attachments or other forms of public
display.
- You may not post commission,
referral or affiliate links anywhere on the forum.
- Members may not post to instruct
users to check their e-mail, check their PM, or inform them that
they've got mail or a new PM, or any variant thereof.
CLC Radio forums or any of it's communities do not allow membership
to any anti, advocate or terrorism/terrorist groups or any group or
individual supporting or helping in any way such activities or
groups.
Cross-Posting is not allowed here.
Cross-posting refers to posting new duplicate threads or posts, or
the linking to threads or posts they have already started.
Participants may not solicit any
external source to post on this forum regarding their company,
services, or products; or any company, services, or products they
are or may be associated with.
Participants may not post on behalf
of any banned member in any public manner. This includes all forums,
private messages, signatures, and e-mail features.
Participants may not post words or
URLs that are censored by adding spaces, dots, or substituting
characters; or by any other means in an attempt to defeat any
censors or censorship put in place by CLC Radio.
Participants may not link, in any
manner, to sites or images containing pornography, sexually
explicit, gross violence, or are determined by moderators to be
detrimental to the community, including religion sites, or political
sites.
Participants may not bump threads.
Bumping can refer to posting useless information, making corrections
or updates in a new post, posting one-liners or any other action to
deliberately keep a thread hot or to bring it to the top of its
forum. Moderators will use their discretion, depending on the nature
of the post, as to whether to take action or not.
Participants may not use
discussions to recommend, praise, or belittle other products or
services, or any company; without first hand experience of those
products or services. This includes companies recommending other
companies. Any post not meeting a moderator's criteria will be
removed without notice.
We take the "Be Polite" rule very
seriously! We do not tolerate any rudeness. Any member who is
intentionally unpleasant or disruptive will be banned without
warning.
Any posts that encourage illegal
intent will be removed and the account disabled.
Public posts debating these rules
and/or moderators enforcement of such, will be removed without
comment. We encourage feedback however and invite you to
contact us (through email only) if you have any
questions or concerns.
If you have any questions regarding advertising, your account,
or something that is wrong on the CLC Radio forums (only) do not post it in the forum,
instead
contact us and inform the
forum Administrators.
Forum Moderators are here to help guide as well as help
enforce the terms of the board. If you have any questions at all
about the forums please contact the forum administrator or the forum
Moderator of the forum you have a question about.
Forum
Specific Rules
These rules apply to the
Main Forum and Other Forum Categories.
- Participants may not publish or
discuss any information regarding their product or services, or
future (possible) products or services, or any product or services
they are, or have been, associated with. This includes, but not
limited to suggesting your own services, or services of partners,
clients, employers or friends. The Sponsoring Area is for
advertising. Advertising in any forum will not be tolerated,
repeated offenders will be banned from the site.
- Participants may not post any
messages that are commercial in nature.
- If you SPAM our
members in any manner, your account will be disabled.
Custom User Titles and
Signatures
The custom user title is the text that appears underneath your member
name in the posts. Signatures are attached to the end of your posts.
- Signatures:
Must be setup in your profile, and not manually added to your
messages.
May contain a maximum of two smilies. Or one animated smiley.
May not include clickable links.
May include only two colors.
Maximum font size cannot be larger than
14 Point font
and may be bold.
Must be kept to a maximum of three lines (at 1024 resolution).
Please keep special characters to a minimum.
Your signature is your signature. It is not for sale or rent.
Any signature that is offensive or insulting to either CLC
Radio, its members, or its staff, is prohibited. We reserve the
right to ask you to change and/or remove your signature at any time,
for any reason. Only members in the forum group DJs, Moderator and
Administrators are allowed to advertise or post clickable links in
their signature lines, and may not have more than 2 colors of 10
point font and no more than a 7 line signature. Any other
advertising in signature lines by members will result in their
signature being removed and being warned on the first offense then suspended or banned on the second offense.
Opinions, advice, and all other
information expressed by participants in discussions are those of the
author. You rely on such information at your own risk. Participants are
urged to seek professional advice for specific, individual situations
and not rely solely on advice or opinions given in the discussions.
Privacy Policy: We will not release member information unless by court order.
We reserve the right to modify and amend these terms
at any time without notice. It is your responsibility to remain informed
of current CLC Radio forum policies. To aid in this, we are adding
XML/ATOM and RSS feeds markers.
If there
are any rules or policies you do not understand, you may contact a

Finally, any abuse toward our staff
and/or management and/or moderators in any form, may result in immediate
suspension of your account as well as you being banned from the forum.
This means, that from time to time, our staff, forum administrators, or mods
may get abusive (within legal reason) to you directly, but you do not
