CLC RADIO ! ! !!!!ATTENTION
DJS !!! ! !
Shows with no name or no
promo recorded have been cancelled for the rest of the Spring
Semester. IF you can get in and record any show promo, you may
be able to have a show in the upcoming Summer session !
If not, you will be given a very difficult time by your Program
director when begging for a slot for the coming Fall semester!
Congratulations 1st DJ
signer-upper - the first to apply for not only a Summer show but
for a reserved slot in the upcoming Fall Semester. The Summer Show's session
has been approved, but will be scheduled on a somewhat limited
basis. Shows should be 2 or 3 hours each. One (1) show
per DJ will be scheduled until the 2nd week, then more shows may be
added at the discretion of the Program Director. All summer
show scheduling will end on week 5 (generally after the "mid-term").
Shows will be scheduled only during the hours of 8am to 4pm, and
only Monday
thru Thursday. NO Friday and NO weekend shows will be
scheduled. ( Friday shows are reserved for CLC Faculty and Staff
as well as CLC Radio Staff)
Call Anthony (PD) at 1-847-543-2391 Meetings AHOYED!
The 1st Spring semester meeting was held 4 times for all of your
conveniences.
You had only needed to attend one of
those to qualify. All meets were in the Glass Lounge (C125)
across from CLC RADIO offices or in the Main studio (C103).
Anthony Roll, Program Director, and
Dan handled the Wednesday meeting, while Phil, Music Director, and
Anthony handled Thursday.
Identical material was presented and discussed in
each meeting.
ATTENDANCE AT ONE OF THESE MEETINGS
WAS MANDATORY IN ORDER TO ACTIVATE / MAINTAIN YOUR DJ
STATUS. FAILURE TO HAVE CALLED AHEAD WITH PROBLEMS OR CONFLICTS AT
LEAST 48hours in advance of any meeting time chosen OR FAILURE TO HAVE ATTENDED
ONE OF THOSE MEETINGS without having called ahead HAS KEPT YOU IN INACTIVE
STATUS UNTIL YOU SPEAK IN PERSON WITH THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR, where
you may be able
to, possibly, regain your Active DJ status.
Inactive DJs have no show or no
web account privileges (such as chat or production time allowances).
Keep in mind: there are at least
nine (4) DJs-in-waiting for show slots...
