Although CLC Radio charges outside groups and whole, "inside" CLC departments for set-up, use, and re-pack of our Portable DJ System (aka, Source-Jox) for their major functions, CLC Clubs, Alliances & Organizations shoul benefit from our DJ Services at a supreme discount!
Our nominal charge to use, on a night-to-night basis, a Source-Jox System (set-up, but no DJ to run things) is 25.00 per night to any group - including CLC Clubs.
Also, although our charge for a DJ is normally 75.00 per hour after 4:30pm, CLC Clubs/Alliances/Unions/Organizations receive the Night-time DJ hourly rate at only 25.oo per hour!
That's only 100.oo for a typical 3 hour night-time party on campus!
To clarify: Whereas the DJ referred to herein is a registered student of the College of Lake County, and whereas the student DJ will be expected to use the CLC Radio Source Jox Equipment at any event scheduled, and whereas the CLC Radio Source Jox Equipment was purchased and is maintained through properly budgeted Student Activities Fees, the prices mentioned herein may be different only when the CLC Radio DJ is recognized as a bona fide professional DJ outside of the college and the DJ brings his own equipment to perform a contract or the DJ arranges personally through outside rental entities in order that the DJ's duties are fully performed under that contract.
All Off-Campus events users (Both Departments AND Clubs) are charged an extra 25.oo per event for vehicle gas and incidentals (DJ per diem meal, for example).
All Off-campus events may only be located within a 50 mile radius of CLC's Grayslake campus. All mileage charges are charged back to the Club using the system and/or DJ; these charges are above any other normal charge mentioned here.
CLC Radio does NOT charge any club nor the Program Board for Source-Jox usage during the Day Time hours of 10:00 am to 2:00pm, but a live DJ being present at those times is solely based upon any DJ's personal schedule. If a CLC Radio DJ can not be present, the Source-Jox system will be set up by a CLC Radio Staffer, may be run by that staffer, OR the SourceJox system may be used merely as a Background Music Source. However, The Chief Engineer, Station Manager , or Director of Student Life may at any time Cancel a Source-Jox order if it is to be used solely as Background Music, but in its place a suitable Device from A/V Services shall be ordered and delivered - as A/V equipment stock has background music carts for just that purpose. In other words, CLC Radio prefers that the Source-Jox system be used as an Active Entertainment Vehicle for DJ Talent rather than a simple Music System with no one "driving".

Yes, cheaper still! Discounts to Clubs & Organizations are based off what we charge outside entities or Full Academic Departments for use or services.
EXAMPLE: For the Lancerettes Dance Squad of CLC, we have occasionally edited their rehearsal/performance pieces
The point: Get your requests in EARLY, as the earlier you get it in, the less we will charge. For the time being, the charge is on an arbitrary sliding scale, a work-in-progress with finalization coming soon.
