Craig Rich, when he was at U of U Website

BUT HE IS AT CLC NOW!

Craig may still be the Artistic Director for Salt Lake Shakespeare and may occasionally serve as a Visiting Assistant Professor for the University of Utah - he was an actual Assistant Professor for Western Illinois University, but he is currently at the College of Lake County!  He has an M.F.A. in Directing from the University of Utah and a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Case Western Reserve University.

He has studied with Augusto Boal, Mary Overlie, and the Society of American Fight Directors. He has taught courses in acting, directing, dramatic literature, and play analysis, as well as developed new courses in multicultural theatre and gay and lesbian theatre. He has also taught workshops and classes for the Utah Opera, Eastern Michigan University, the WIU Dealing with Difference Summer Institute, Illinois High School Theatre Festival, Plan-B Theatre Company, and the University of Utah's Youth Theatre.  There is no doubt, he keeps on studying his craft and teaching.

He is an Associate Member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers and has directed over thirty-five university and professional productions, and by now the count should be at over forty!

Arrange to take Introduction to Theatre, Principles of Acting, Acting 2, Play Analysis for Production, or Directing 1 (as is available) from Mr. Rich whenever you can.  Take and take often!
